Our Services
The Mountains Psychology Clinic provides treatment services to people who self-refer, or are referred by other medical or allied health professionals or organisations. You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate if you have a suitable referral through your GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician (please contact us to discuss this further) or if you have Private Health Insurance (please contact your Private Health Insurer to discuss this further).

The Australian Psychological Society (APS) National Schedule of Suggested Fees 2025/2026 for a 46-60 minute session is $318. In order to ensure we are providing more affordable mental health support to the Blue Mountains community, we have set our session fees lower than the suggested fee.

Please note, The Mountains Psychology Clinic is not a crisis service. If you are in urgent need of mental health care, please contact your GP or the Mental Health Information and Support Service (1800 011 511) or in a mental health emergency, please contact Triple 0 or present to your local Emergency Department.

We offer 50 minutes sessions at our Clinic in Katoomba or via telehealth

Individual Therapy (In-person or via Telehealth) outside of business hours
Some of our clinicians have capacity to offer 8am or 5pm onwards appointments on some days of the week. When you contact us please let us know if you have a preference for an out of hours appointment and we can discuss availability with you.

We offer Clinical Supervision for Provisional & Registered Psychologists, and Clinical Psychology Registrars
